How to Contact Me as a Student

Like most professors, I love to talk to students and will answer most emails. I am also always open to taking interns if there is a good fit. If you are a first generation student or a member of an underepresented minority and have questions about graduate school or research, I especially encourage you to reach out.

However, I generally do not reply to generic emails that are clearly send to many people at once without any indication that the author actually knows who I am. Belive it or not, academics get a lot of these.

Office Hours

I am currently in the process of moving from UW Madison to SJSU, so there are no regular walk-in hours at my office. Please contact me if you want to meet virtually.
